🍫Flour-less Brownies🍫

I am by no means a pro-baker, but man, these brownies are a hit anytime I make them. I have friends + family who have varying ranges of allergies, so I found a recipe what was gluten-free... but still wasn't too happy with some other ingredients. So I kept swapping + testing until we had this grand winner right here. Super tasty & easy to make! They are gluten + dairy free, enjoy!


🍫 2/3 cup organic sugar

🍫 6 tbsp coconut oil

🍫 2 large eggs

🍫 3 tbsp arrowroot powder

🍫 1/4 tsp salt

🍫 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

🍫 3/4 cup dairy free semi sweet chocolate chips

🍫 2 tsp vanilla extract

🍫 OPTIONAL: chopped nuts or shredded coconut for top

1) Preheat oven to 350*F + line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper for easy release

2) Melt coconut oil & chocolate chips over low heat + then let cool slightly

3) Beat eggs, sugar, + vanilla together until pale + smooth (about 2 minutes)

4) Add melted mixture in + mix until combined

5) Add cocoa powder, arrowroot powder + salt. Mix until combined, thick + smooth then pour into pan

6) Add your optional toppings + bake 25-30 minutes (mine usually take 28 minutes in a glass pan)

7) Let sit for 15 minutes before removing + cutting

From trial + error, I have also learned:

🍫 using a 9x9 metal pan takes about 23-25 minutes

🍫 using a metal mini muffin tray takes about 15 minutes
